Monte-Carlo Masters

The first of the three ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events played on clay

The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters is a popular tournament due to its stunning location at the Monte-Carlo Country Club. First held in 1897, the tournament is the first major tournament of the year played on clay – the other two being the Madrid Open and the Italian Open. It features men’s singles and doubles events. Rafael Nadal won the tournament eleven times between 2005 and 2018. This is makes him the only player to win eight consecutive titles at the same tournament.

The event is held during April or May every year. Tennis Holidays can provide an amazing package for those looking to take in the fantastic views of the Mediterranean.
